In every fashion week there’s the good, the bad and the ugly, but today we’re not going to get our eyes on those but rather on the glamorous, the luxurious and the extravagant wedding gowns that were presented on the latest haute couture fashion week for this Fall . Let’s begin, shall we?
The Glamorous: Karl Lagerfeld presented a beautiful ‘new vintage’ collection, full of Chanel classics, and he finished the runway show with a breathtaking and super glamorous wedding gown: full of feathers and to me it has some sort of old Hollywood vibe to it, very dramatic and yes, glamorous.
The Luxurious: Lebanese designer Elie Saab is known for his very feminine and full details. This bridal designs was so exception, it reminded me a little of the royal gowns from centuries ago, very beautiful and romantic as well. Every bride wants to feel like a queen on her special day, so why not get the inspiration from this?
The Extravagant: We all know Jean Paul Gaultier tends to go a little over the top, and this design it may not look bridal for some people but ‘wedding’ was the very first word that cross my mind when I saw it. This is my absolute favorite of the three and since I know there are some ladies that like to go against tradition, this is a very good source of inspiration. Love, love, love the top hat and the structure. Fabulous!
