Valentino has always been a favorite of mine, because I think they always know how to flatter women, and how to design in order to make one look like a queen. Since the days when Valentino himself ran his house, that has been a main feature of his designs.
Today, Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri are taking matters in their own hands and giving a modern and fresh look to Valentino, but maintaining that important feature that is feminity. This is a great collection, full of details and textures, that only makes the whole work more beautiful. They used red in this collection which I think is fantastic (a little red never hurts anyone) and they also had some prints that were very nice. As usual with Valentino, fantastic!
