Every time New York Fashion Week starts, I get all excited about the new Carolina Herrera collection. I can honestly say my excitement was not in vain. As usual. This Spring/Summer 2013 collection, along with DVF‘s are at the top of my favorites list.
Mrs. Herrera opted for soft colors, with bits of orange, black and gold to give drama to her designs on this collection. At a first glance you can clearly see this was intended for summer.
The skirts are fabulous. I’ve always said she has a gift for skirts, and this collection was no exception. The woman can truly make magic by using different fabrics, giving texture and movement to the skirts.
Accessories are, as always, flawless. Gorgeous sandals in soft colors to complete a truly spectacular collection.
