All age inspiration from the Gotham Independent Film Awards 2014

On Monday night, New York welcomed some of Hollywood big names to celebrate the 24th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street.

My favorite looks of the night were black, and they went from romantic to stylish punk rock. And after I finished this I realized this looked like some sort of all age black outfit inspiration board. So, I certainly hope you all get inspired after this.

René Russo looked amazing in an all black ensemble, making her tuxedo jacket and golden scarf to stand out. This might as well be my favorite look. I think she looks amazing and very modern.

Joey King wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress that was very, very age apropriate. Love the make-up, I think it looks very good on her and love the kind of messy hair even more. Well done Joey!

Scarlet Johansson wowed everyone with her Saint Laurent outfit, and her make-up, and her boyish hair. She looked absolutely flawless.

Marisa Tomei looked very modern in black pants under a see through dress. And although yes, she could have used a little more make-up, she doesn’t look bad. Loved the earrings.

Favorite looks from Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2014

During November 6th to 9th, the Accra International Conference Center in Ghana, hosted the Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2014. Now this is something that was kind of new to me but looking at the pictures I knew I had to share it. Absolutely love the African influence that many of these and others design have. Love the bight colors, the prints, the mixed fabrics and the freshness of it all. Definitely and event to keep an eye on in the future. So here are my favorites from this year:

M Le Monde Magazine’s Prime of Life

Last October, M Le Monde Magazine published portraits of old women with quite some modern and a bit eccentric make-up in their special section La fleur de l’âge, proving that you can be beautiful, stylish and eccentric at any age, these women looked amazing and not photoshopped in the least. The photos were taken by British photographer Richard Burridge.
