Paris Fashion Week Highlights: Valentino

I am overly happy with this collection. Finally, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli left the long sleeved, grandma-like dresses aside and opted for a more diverse collection. Loved the designs, the shapes, and the very detailed and elaborate fabrics.

I think this collection looks younger and modern than the previous ones and they maintained that glamorous touch that’s so characteristic of Valentino. It’s as usual very feminine and there are a few designs that we might see on the next red carpets.

Paris Fashion Week Highlights: L’Wren Scott

This L’Wren Scott Spring/Summer collection is colorful, fun and feminine. Always good when it comes to clothes. I’m particularly in love with the light blue outfit, but I think there’s something for everyone in this collection.

As with some other collections this one is quite wearable, you all know how much I love that. Not everyone lives for red carpets and super posh parties you know? These designs are elegant yes, but still nothing over the top.

Paris Fashion Week Highlights: Saint Laurent

I do not like the new name, but boy did I like that new collection. Saint Laurent (I will forever miss the Yves), delivered a 70s inspired-ultra-fabulous spring collection. Again it had a lot of black but anyways, I just loved pretty much everything. Lots of flowing fabrics, tight pants, long skirts, big hats and gorgeous shoes were some of the elements that gave life to this collection.
