Lookbook: Carlos Miele F/W 2013

The biggest fashion weeks have come and gone, but runway shows aren’t everything during those times. A little less exposed but still quite important are the lookbooks presented by many designers that are making their way into the fashion business. Pay close attention because there you can the future big names of the industry.

The first lookbook I’d like to share with you is the Fall/Winter 2013 collection by Carlos Miele. The Brazilian designer opted for his usual creative prints with modern designs as well as some fantastic solid colors, very elegant and very regal in my opinion. Love the details in this collection, specially the embellishments, they scream red carpet, and I truly hope to see one of his designs there someday. No doubt one of Latin America’s greatest talents.

Paris Fashion Week Highlights: Hermès F/W 2013

Hermès Fall collection is in few words: very French, and very chic. Simple lines, solid colors, and giving that message of powerful woman. I love the dresses, they are very simple but quite elegant; again the mid-calf skirt made an appearance (as it did in almost every collection this season), and so did the pantsuit with a little, more daring twist: a deep V top. Also, great shoes. 😉

Paris Fashion Week Highlights: Valentino F/W 2013

I think is safe to say this is my absolute favorite collection of Paris Fashion Week. As is becoming usual, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli did an amazing job delivering an elegant, romantic and red carpet worthy collection for Valentino. I love the colors, and the prints are gorgeous. Some outfits are very England circa 1800, which I really liked, and others look like a red carpet version of Wednesday Addams, which in my opinion looked quite fantastic. I totally love it, from the designs to the accessories. Take a look!
